Like its namesake drink, The Last Word is compact, consists of beautifully-balanced components and is a rather gorgeous shade of green – emerald, in this case. This intimate lounge specialises in whisky to the extent that a rolling ladder is required for bartenders to reach all of the bottles – well over 300 at last count. But this is no dimly-lit whisky den. There's abundant natural light from the large windows, and a sunny outside area too. Once again, the name is a clue to the bar's noteworthy cocktail offering, which focuses primarily on classics, and there's a carefully-selected range of interesting beer and wine on offer too.
